As the central counterparty, European Commodity Clearing (ECC) provides clearing and settlement for the EEX Group exchanges and a number of other partner exchanges, acting as the central clearing house specializing in energy and commodity products. Do you know what clearing means and what happens when the buyer or seller backs out of the transaction? How does ECC help secure energy trading and the market? With us, you can gain very hands-on experience, dive deeper into the day-to-day operations of a clearing house for the exchange and find answers to these questions.
Your tasks:
In your role, you will support the Clearing Service Operations team in the daily operational business of clearing. This means you will support in the late afternoon with daily settlement and limit management for our clients. You will be part of a great team right from the start and you can prove your hands-on mentality in the tasks we take on together. For all your outstanding achievements you will of course get a lot back from your team. Because we value exchanging ideas, being there for each other and making each other better. We call this: Exchange Mindset. By working in the afternoon, you will be able to balance your studies and your part-time job very well. The maximum working time is 20 hours per week.
