Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Kultur Leipzig - FLEX Research Group
FLEX is an interdisciplinary research group of around 20 members, active in the field of applied building research at HTWK Leipzig. Since 2014, architects, civil and industrial engineers, as well as wood technologists and computer scientists have been working together under its umbrella on new solutions at the interface between academically driven, mostly digitally based planning processes and craft-based construction processes.
The aim is to develop system-innovative approaches that respect the procedural nature of building while unlocking the potential of digitally supported prefabrication processes for construction that must necessarily be individually defined. The focus of the research lies on digitally based design, planning, prefabrication, and construction using wood, engineered wood products, and natural building materials.
Public relations
Planning and coordination of our communication formats
Tasks:
- Planning and coordination of communication and public relations formats
- Creation and maintenance of editorial calendars
- Communication support and coordination of events (announcements, coverage, follow-up)
- Creation, preparation, and publication of content for social media (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook) and the website
- Regular content production (approx. 1–2 posts per week)
- Development and implementation of creative communication formats and own ideas
- Preparation of research topics for clear and target-group-oriented communication
- Support in increasing the visibility of research projects and results
- Collaboration within an interdisciplinary team
Requirements:
- Experience in social media**
- Proficiency in common graphic design software**
- Creativity and a strong sense for target audience–oriented communication**
- Good German and English language skills**
