Working Student (f/m/d) Communications - Focus: Public Relations

Tasks:

As a working student in our Public Relations team, you will play an active role in shaping how our company is perceived by the public. You will help prepare and publish external company announcements that align with our communication strategy, making sure our messages reach the right audiences in the right way. In your day‑to‑day work, you will draft press releases and support the handling of incoming press inquiries. To do this, you will work closely with internal subject‑matter experts to gather the insights and information you need. You will also prepare press clippings for our leadership team and assist in evaluating the performance of newsletters and press releases to help us continuously improve our communication activities. In addition, you will contribute to the planning and coordination of press events and collaborate with colleagues from Social Media and Marketing to promote our company’s offerings and support joint communication projects. After all, we value the exchange of ideas, being there for each other and encouraging each other to become better. We call it: the exchange mindset.

Requirements:

  • Current enrolment at an University in Germany in Business Administration, Communications or Social Sciences (other fields also welcome)
  • Availability to work as a Student with us for at least 3 semester (18-20 hours per week)
  • Availability to join the team on site in the office in Leipzig on regular basis
  • An enthusiasm for writing and language, in particularly for written language in a professional contextfluency in German (C1) and English (C1)
  • Organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Basic experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • The ability to learn new processes quickly
