Working field:
- Controllers for the Fault-ride-Through behavior for grid-forming converters connected to wind turbines are developed and analyzed
- A suitable validation involving EMT (Electromagnetic Transients) simulation must be carried out
- The importance of the design of dynamic controllers for the security of AC-DC networks is to be demonstrated using test networks. The high-voltage and microgrid levels with connection to multi-energy systems are considered
- Imparting knowledge through lecture material and publication
Requirements:
- Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in engineering with a focus on electrical energy technology
- Very good knowledge and experience in controlling network-forming converters
- Very good knowledge and experience of EMT simulation
- Very good knowledge and experience of network security
- Experience in practical use of laboratory equipment
- Good knowledge of German and/or English required; Willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
