Working field:

In the BMBF-funded QUADRIGA project, a Berlin-Brandenburg data competence center is to be set up with a focus on digital humanities and administrative sciences.

Area of responsibility within the project:

  • Development of a platform for educational resources based on existing components,
  • Evaluation and selection of relevant approaches and systems,
  • Research in the area of research data management and research data infrastructures,
  • Presentation and publication of research results

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) inin computer science (or comparable),
  • Good programming knowledge and confident use of development tools (Java, JavaScript, Python),
  • Initial experience in developing web applications and knowledge of current web frameworks and web technologies
  • Basic knowledge of methods and algorithms for search and exploration as well as visualization and analysis of data
  • Basic knowledge of semantic web, linked data and knowiedge graphs
  • Good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
