Research Assistant - salary grade 13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - 2nd qualification period (Habilitation)

part-time employment may be possible

Working field:

  • research and teaching activities at the Chair of Literature and Science
  • teaching of seminars (currently 4 LVS = two courses per semester)
  • teaching and examination activities, mostly in the literary studies modules in the master’s program Theory and History of Science and Technology
  • active participation in research and publication projects / proposals of the Chair of Literature and Science
  • research in the field of Science and Technology Studies, with the objective of further scientific qualification (Habilitation)

Requirements:

  • successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent)
  • doctorate in the field of literary studies with clear references to history and theory of Science and Technology
  • relevant research project (Habilitation-project) in the fields of Science and Technology Studies
  • ability to teach in German as well as in English is required
